This past week I attend a class taught by Terrie from Summer in a Jar. The class was phenomenal, I never knew how much there was to learn about safe canning methods and was surprised by how much science is put into canning.
The evening started off with a little minted tea and discussion on our safe canning skill level. From there we rolled up our sleeves and got to work in the kitchen; cleaning, skinning, cutting, cooking tomatoes then stuffing, sealing, boiling the cans!
It was a fabulous evening with a fabulous teacher! I highly recommend to everyone taking a canning course with Terrie from Summer in a Jar.
