The heart of Duvall lies within the boundaries of McCormack Park. McCormack Park is an open area that lies between the Snoqualmie Valley Trail (link back to trail) and the Snoqualmie Valley River. Almost everyday of the year you can find people in the park. At times it can seem like a sleepy place; people stretching before walking the trail, bird watching, picnicking, and owners play fetch with their dogs. But during the annual events this place becomes ALIVE.
Early in the spring you can find McCormack Park waking up for Duvall Days, the annual city celebration. This is a great kick off, including a spectacular fireworks show, to the summer events to come. Mid-July SummerStage starts, an outdoor summer concert series brought you to by the Duvall Culture Commission and title sponsor CBBain. From the Blues to ROCK-N-ROLL, listening to music along the riverbanks is the only place to be. It’s a great way to breakup the work week without having to go far.
