We go for walks during weekdays, just down the road and back. But come the weekend we are ready for a change of scenery. Most times, like today, we just head down to the Snoqualmie Valley Trail and walk from McCormack Park to 124th, which is approx four miles round trip. Or on weeks when I need the stress release we’ll go as far as Oxbow Farms, which is six miles roundtrip. We really enjoy walking the tranquil trail.
This past Sunday morning, Duvall was a sleepy little town. No one to be seen, after the first mile or so. Then finally we ran into our good friends, an elder gentleman and his dog, Harley [is it bad that I know dog names but not people names?]. We chat for a short while then both back on our way. Once we turned around and headed back to the park we ran into a more friends, a Councilwomen, walking her two Aussie Shepards and a friend from High School walking her bird dog.
We are blessed to live in such a great community with so many walking trails.
